Hello, it's been a long time since my last post but I'm back at uni now and here are a few bits I have done since my return. I will be posting up more work regularly.

cover ting

Gave in my submission for the Macmillan book prize in London yesterday, about five minutes before the deadline at half five. This was the cover I threw together for it, I'm stoked on the character but felt the type was a bit bodged.

Bataleon stick by Parra

Bataleon collaborated with Amsterdam based artist Parra to create this version of their popular evil twin freestyle board. Featuring some unmistakeably Parra characters and typography anyone seen reppin this in the park is gonna get mad props. http://www.bataleon.com/en/boards_evil_twin_ae

book teaser

Here is a pencil rough and a colour spread from my children's book; 'The Boy That Conned the Tooth Fairy', I'm the process of finalizing the text so allow the spindly hand drawn type. The colour spread will have the following text in it; . . . then He said with a cry " . . A lifetime supply of your SWEETEST, FIZZIEST DRINKS!" I will post up some more very soon.

Shaun Tan

My close friend Hannah bought 'The Red Tree' for my birthday earlier this year and it is without a doubt one of the best picture books I've ever read; beautiful, profound and thought provoking. If you get a chance to pick up any of his books then do so because he is a very talented bloke.

(sorry the pictures aren't very high res, they don't really do it justice at all, all the more reason to go out a get a copy!)
