Can't believe it's nearly Halloween, favourite time of year.

It's been far too long since I've posted so here are a few scribbles. Back at uni for my second year now, lots of work to be getting on with, it's all a bit daunting but really fun. I've got a children's book on the go at the moment so hopefully I'll have some spreads up in the near future . . .

Roma

I took these photos on the Rome Illustration trip with my disposable camera, you got Angus Jeffcoat Dick on the left in front of St Peter's, and Jason Munro in the Vatican square on the right. I really like the symmetry.

more mustaches

Got a bit of a thing with drawing mustaches at the moment,
I think it's probably because I know I'll never ever be able to grow one, which is unfair
because I'd really like to have the option of having trendy facial hair, just the option is enough.

Rad Album Artwork

These are two of my favourite album covers; The Scientist album is amazing, it was mixed at King Tubby's studio by Scientist and features a couple of great dub versions of Michael Prophet songs, namely You are no good which, on this album is re-named; Dance Of The Vampires. And the album's sleeve has got a whole 50s B-Movie thing going on about it which is super rad.

Probably my favourite hip hop album ever, i think this might actually be a photo and the brushstrokes were painted on a girl.

Super rad poster for the Wonder Years and All or Nothing tour, I'm yet to find out who did the artwork.

Going to see these guys at the Freebutt on Monday. The colourway on this poster is sick, looks like it might be a screenprint but I'm not sure.

Ilse's Birthday

I drew this for my close friend Ilse's birthday back in April, came across a scan I had of it and thought I may as well put it up.

Big Bastard Squid

I drew this on a day out location drawing at uni. We went to the Natural History Museum and got to go check out the underground storage area where the general public can't go because they'll see things like this in tanks of formaldahyde and faint. It's 3 A3 pages long.

This is the view from the top of the Spanish Steps in Rome.

This was a kid's book I wrote and Illustrated on foundation, I still really like it but will probably re-do some of the artwork.

First double spread, it goes on to explain a bunch of bloodthirsty ways you could help a slug meet its maker. And it rhymes which is important.
